The Inside Scoop by Nick Guerra
"Hello My Baby" got it's legs at the Grapevine Mall. I was walking by the Sanrio store when when I noticed the calendar saying that Hello Kitty was coming for a visit. I immediately thought it would be hilarious to just take a picture with her. How many comedians can boast they got a picture with Hello Kitty. Dustin and Anthony were both busy that day so it was just me.

I woke up early, got dressed up and drove over to the mall on a hot Saturday afternoon. When she finally arrived, I jumped in front of two little girls to get my picture taken. What do they know about Hello Kitty anyway.

"Kitty" was very unintimate. The person just stood there. Didn't even wave at me. Then again I probably freaked the person out. The store manager threw random Hello Kitty facts at me like, "Hello Kitty is only supposed to be three apples tall, but today she's three nuclear apples tall." Yup.

Got my pics and left.

Now when it got down to us taking the pictures, it was only us three. We already knew we wanted Anthony to push Dustin out of the way so it just helped because when he was out of the scene he became our camera man. The original plan was to be working on a car and dressed up like "greasers" a'la the Outsiders. As you can see, we didn't take that route.

Now the picture I'm holding is of a group of race car drivers. Only the owner of the picture knew that and he thought it was hilarious. His own inside joke. Yay.

I got it down, put it up but didn't have a title. Then I thought to myself, "Hello my baby, hello my darling, hello my ragtime gal..." Badda Bing... The cutesy strip you see today.
